Viewing Logs

Click Show Log to view the logged activity detail for DataLink Server. The most recent log updates are displayed first. Use the scrollbar to scroll through the log.

You can view these logs groups:

  • Client: Select Client to view the logged activity for your client machine.
  • Server: Select Server to view the logged activity for the DataLink Server you are connected to.

You can also change the amount of logging information displayed by selecting a Log Level.

To select a Log Level:

  1. Select Show Log > Current Log Level.
  2. Select the level you require.
  3. Click Apply.
    A message appears informing you that the log level has been updated, and you must restart Microsoft® Office Excel to apply the new setting.
  4. Click OK.
After Excel has restarted, the new Log Level is shown in Current Log Level
