Standard Functions

The Event Agent provides the following standard function:

NOP - means "No Operation" and can be used to prevent write access to data areas. This function can be executed by the user permissions, as far as external triggers are concerned. Since internal event filters are executed as the user 'AleaInternal', the user permissions are no longer valid. In such cases, write access is barred with NOP.

Note:  No particular permissions are assigned to NOP. Only the write operation is revoked. The written value is stored in the database for a short time.
