Setting up the application user

To enable a user to work with the applications Infor Financial Consolidation and Infor BI Application Studio, in Infor BI Designer the permissions for Infor BI OLAP Server and Infor BI Application Studio must be assigned.

To set up the application user:

  1. Create a user in the User Management.
  2. Assign the group Report Viewer to the user to grant access to the Application Studio reports.
  3. To grant access to the Infor BI OLAP Server, create a role in the OLAP Permission Management.
  4. Assign the permissions View and Import/Export Values to the role.
  5. If the user should also be able to specify values, add the permission Write Values to the role.
  6. Assign the user to this role.
