Data connections for cubes

On the Data connections for cubes tab in the Properties dialog of the business group, is a tree showing the data connections for cubes. The tree is divided into business groups, cubes, and data connections. For each business group, only those cubes are displayed for which you have created a data connection to the business group as the source.

In the overview, you determine for the data connections, when and which business data are transferred from the reference database to the Infor BI OLAP Server database. Select the Load automatically check box if the business data are to be transferred from the reference database to the cube of the Infor BI OLAP Server database, each time an Infor BI OLAP Server database is created.

Note: Only data loaded into the reference database are transferred to the Infor BI OLAP Server database. On the Data transfer tab of the Properties dialog of the business group, you configure, when and which data are loaded from the source databases into the reference database.
