Replacing an action in a cell with a lookup object

The sizes of cells and the layout of any text that they contan is influenced by adjacent objects such as hyperblocks. Because you can specify that a lookup object is independent of surrounding cells and objects it can be useful to specify actions in lookup objects.

To create an action in a lookup from an existing action:

  1. Right-click the cell in which the action is defined and select Edit Action.
  2. Select the action to copy and click Copy Action.
  3. Define a lookup object and click Perform action when icon is clicked in the Format dialog.
  4. Click Paste Action in the Define Action dialog.
