Customizing the cell borders in the split area

If you insert a split, a one-pixel black split line is inserted automatically as a separator between two adjacent freeze panes.

You can switch off the black line and use an individual formatting instead.

To switch off the split line and customize the cell borders:

In Repository Administration, configure the setting Draw fixed splitter line=False. See the Repository Administration User Guide for details.
Start Application Studio.
Insert a split.
See Inserting and removing a split.
Click View Report.
No split line will be displayed. In Design Mode, you can now format the cell borders in the split area as required.
Note: For technical reasons, we recommended using cell background color instead of using cell bottom and right borders to visualize the freeze pane. The current implementation of cell borders does not work correctly if the borders are used in cells on the freeze pane border.
