Multiple browsers

We strongly recommend that you do not create desktop shortcuts to Application Studio WebServices reports. If you open more than one browser from a shortcut, they use the same session on the web server. The server cannot distinguish between the browsers. Like the New Window option, this may result in corrupting the database with inconsistent data.

If desktop shortcuts must be used, create the shortcuts to a .cmd file that opens the browser, for example, start iexplore.exe [directlink URL].
