Changing equipment status at a door

Use this task to change an equipment status after performing an equipment query.

  1. Click OpenClose on the Query Equipment page.
    Note: OpenClose option is enabled only when the equipment is at a door.
  2. Specify this information:
    New Equipment Flow
    Select a flow from the list.
    New Equipment Status
    Select a status from the list.
    New Current State
    Select a state from the list.
    Add Linked ASN
    Select an ASN from the list. You can optionally link ASNs by entering the ASN and then clicking the +button to attach it. A grid then shows attached ASNs. You cannot detach ASNs on this page. To link an ASN, the shipment order cannot be attached to another piece of equipment.
    Add Linked SO
    Select an SO from the list. You can optionally link SOs by entering the SO and then clicking the + button to attach it. A grid then shows attached SOs. You cannot detach SOs on this page. To link an SO, the shipment order cannot be attached to another piece of equipment.
    Commodity
    Select a facility commodity from the list.
    Commodity Type
    Select a commodity type from the list.
  3. Click Save to save changes or Cancel to return to the Query Equipment page.
    Note: If the incorrect combination of new equipment values is specified, then the saving fails.
