Visual Yard

The Visual Yard page is the key component of the yard management systems. This real time graphical rendering provides you with a virtual view of the physical yard. With this page, you can view location and equipment information and move equipment within the view to create equipment moves.

The Visual Yard map shows a 3D rendering of the yard. The yard view shows the buildings, doors, yard locations, and equipment in 3D based on the resolution of the monitor or display.

You can use the Visual Yard map view to do these things:

• Identify trailers that need attention by using the intuitive colors and icons provided
• View trailer contents and generate and confirm moves
• View the yard and trailer service status in real time
• Manage dock resources, doors, and yard areas
