Checking out equipment at the facility level

  1. Open from one of these options:
    • If in YMS desktop, select a facility from the Facility field if not already selected, and then select Execution > Gate Check Out.
    • If in Yard Jockey Mobile application, select Check Out.
  2. Select a load number or equipment ID. Depending on the load number or equipment ID selected, some or all the other fields are populated.
  3. Specify this information:
    Seal Intact
    Select Yes if the seal is intact. Otherwise, select No.
    RFID Tag Removal
    Select Yes if the RFID tag should be removed. Otherwise select No.
    Seal number
    Specify the seal number.
    Outbound Driver
    If not provided, specify the name of the outbound driver.
    Outbound Driver license
    Specify the CDL or driver license number for the outbound driver.
    Outbound Tractor ID
    Specify the ID of the outbound tractor.
    Comment
    Optionally, specify a comment.
  4. Click Sign for Driver Signature, and then have driver use mouse to sign name indicating that the information provided is correct and that the necessary steps and paperwork has been performed.
  5. Click Sign for Representative Signature, and then have yard representative use mouse to sign name indicating that the information provided is correct and that the necessary steps and paperwork has been performed.
  6. Click Complete Checkout. The equipment is checked out from the facility, and if any shipment orders and appointments are related to the equipment, then they are removed.
    Note: If checkout paperwork is associated with the equipment flow, the Print Checkout Paperwork window is displayed when you click Complete Checkout. In this window, you can select the Printer Name and click Print to print the required documents. This window is not displayed if:
    • The checkout is performed for multiple equipments in bulk.
    • The equipment is already checked out.
