Task Priority and Aging

You can use the YMS Task Aging page to specify a decrement and time interval for gradually increasing the importance and priority of a task at a facility level. You can specify a task aging by zone and by task so that an inspection can have a higher default and faster decrement, decrement priority increases importance, than a move task.

The highest priority is 1 and the lowest is 999, so that with each change, the importance and priority can make any task appear better or worse than another priority. For example, 499 is a higher priority than 500 even though the difference is minor.

The minimum age time is 10 minutes or 600 seconds with a maximum of 86400. Task aging is optional.
