Adding a new task at the facility level

  1. Select a facility from the Facility field.
  2. Select Execution > Task Queue to open the YMS Facility Task page.
  3. Click New.
  4. Specify this information in the YMS Create Task window:
    Task Type
    Select the task type from this list:
    • Inspection
    • Move
    • Status change
    Equipment ID
    Select the equipment ID from the list. Click the ... button to view equipment details from the YMS Equipment Inventory page.
    Priority
    This field is available when you select Inspection or Move as the task type. The priority is defaulted based on the task type. You can specify a different priority.
    Auto Complete?
    Check this box for a facility to automatically complete relocate or move tasks. The AutoComplete Task Default flag is set at the Facility Management page and you can override it here.
    Auto-Complete In
    This field is available when you select Move or Relocate as the task type. Specify the time period in which the move should automatically be completed when the time has expired. The default is 5 seconds.
    An operator can complete a move in these cases:
    • When the driver remains with the equipment
    • When a yard jockey or shunter moves the equipment to the destination location

      Inspection task must be completed by an operator and cannot be automatically completed.
    Inspection level
    This field is available when you select Inspection for the task type. Select the inspection level to indicate the inspection questions to be answered for that inspection task. These values are valid:
    • Level 1 (Basic Level)
    • Level 2 (Medium)
    • Level 3 (Detailed)
    • Level 4 (Comprehensive)
    To Location Type Filter
    This field is available when you select Move as the task type. Select a value to filter the list of locations. Only locations in the facility with the selected location type are displayed.
    To Location Name
    This field is available when you select Move as the task type. Select the location; it is a value from the Enterprise Location Type page and is used to filter the To location name.
    To Equipment Status
    This field is available when you select Status Change as the task type. Select the status value which is the status the equipment is to be updated with when the specified timing interval has elapsed.
  5. Click Save.
