Administration – facility level
You can maintain the facility administration level data specific to your facility's
operations.
YMS application configuration is maintained globally at the enterprise level and locally for the facility level. An example of facility administrative level is the alert event workflow configuration and yard check strategy. By breaking apart those global configurations from the local configurations, the enterprise can maintain consistent standards across all facilities that comprise the Enterprise, while the facility can maintain and control the equipment handling that reflects their processes and nuances specific to their operations
