Enhancements

This section describes the enhancements that are available in this production update.

Appointment slot calendar

The appointment structure has been enhanced so that in addition to equipment arrival, it now tracks the planned equipment movement when the equipment is at the facility. The Appointment Slots page assists in tracking this information when equipment is between arrival and departure from a facility:
  • when equipment must be at the load/unload point
  • what action is going to occur at the load/unload point
  • when action is to be completed
The new Visual Appointment Slot Calendar page includes lines that represent a load or unload location with at least one slot record scheduled for that day. The line is separated by line segments representing each type of equipment at the slot at that time.

You can access this option from the Facility > Yard > Appointment Slot Calendar menu.

Warehouse gate Check In

Multiple ASNs are now automatically linked during gate Check In; you receive a message containing the number of ASNs linked to the equipment. When only a single ASN or no ASN is indicated during gate Check In, no message is shown.

Warehouse task management zone

There is now a To Zone field on the Facility Task Management page. You can optionally configure task management rules by the task destination zone for more configuration flexibility and ease of setup. For a move task, you must indicate one of the zone values, source zone or destination zone. For inspection tasks, only the source zone is allowed. When the task type is both, you can specify both the source and destination zones. When searching for a task, you must consider inspection tasks not indicating destination.
