Logging on to XM Mobile when MAM is enabled

When MAM is enabled, you must complete Microsoft authentication and configure an application PIN after signing in to the Infor XM Mobile application.

  1. Access the XM Mobile application on the personal or unmanaged device.
  2. Specify the XM user credentials.
  3. Tap Log in.
  4. Complete Microsoft authentication when prompted.
Note: Based on the configured security policies, additional authentication can be required.
  5. Configure the Infor XM Mobile application PIN. The PIN is used to protect access to the application.
  6. Configure a supported biometric authentication method, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint recognition, if permitted by the app protection policy.
  7. Access Infor XM Mobile. After authentication and app protection are completed, access the application normally.
  8. Use the application according to your organization’s security policies. Based on the configured App Protection Policy, actions such as copying, sharing, saving, or backing up company information are restricted as configured.
  9. Re-authenticate when prompted. After the configured period of inactivity or as required by your organization’s security policy, specify the application PIN or use biometric authentication.
Note: If MAM is not enabled, use the existing Infor XM Mobile login process without the additional Microsoft authentication and app protection controls.
