Verifying the MAM configuration

Verify the configuration on a test iOS device.

  1. Install or open Infor XM Mobile.
  2. Sign in using an account that belongs to the assigned user group and has an Intune license.
  3. Complete Microsoft authentication when prompted.
  4. Allow the application to restart.
  5. Create a six-digit application PIN.
  6. Verify that the application rejects a simple PIN such as 111111.
  7. Copy more than two characters of text from Infor Expense.
  8. Paste the text into a personal application, such as Notes.
  9. Verify that the configured data protection policy blocks the action when more than the permitted number of characters is copied.
  10. Capture a screenshot in Infor XM Mobile.
  11. Verify that the captured image is blank.
  12. Select App protection status in the Monitor menu of the Microsoft Intune admin center.
  13. Verify that the test user and device are listed with a recent check-in and that the policy is applied.
