Adding a mileage rate class

You can use the Mileage Rate Class (alco_mileage_rate_class) table to define the rate class at which employees are reimbursed for the mileage incurred using an automobile.

  1. Select Manage > Corporate Data and select Mileage Rate Class.
  2. Specify this information:
    Expense Type
    The expense type for this mileage rate class.
    Class
    The class for the mileage rate. For example, mileageRateScreen.
    Script
    A JavaScript for the mileage rate class. The script is linked to the mileage rate through the expense type. See Adding a JavaScript mileage calculator.
    Implementation Class
    An implementation class for the mileage rate. For example, largesoft.er.MultipleMileageRateClass.
    Status
    The status of the mileage rate class. The status can be Active or Inactive.
  3. Click the Membership tab, if required, and add the data groups. See, Adding or removing data groups from a corporate date type.
  4. Specify an external key, if required. See, Creating an external key.
  5. Click Add to save the data.
