Installing the patch using the Windows Tomcat installer

To install the patch using the Windows Tomcat installer:

Note:  If you are upgrading the application, stop all servers, including Apache.
  1. Double-click xm-tomcat-windows-version_build number.jar.
    Alternatively, you can run this command from a command line:

    JAVA_HOME/java –jar xm-tomcat-windows-version_build number.jar

    where

    JAVA_HOME indicates a JVM of version 1.8 or higher.

    After the extraction progress is complete, the system displays the Welcome screen.

  2. Click Next.
  3. Select All Tomcat Instances option on the server, and click Next.
  4. Specify the path where the Infor Expense Management is installed and click Next. The Apply Installation screen is displayed.
  5. Click Install. The Installation Progress screen is displayed.
  6. Click OK and Exit.
  7. Run the setup command (specified in Step 1) or double-click the setup file.
  8. Select the Apache server, and click Next.
  9. Specify the path where Infor Expense Management is installed.
  10. Click Next. The Installation Progress screen is displayed.
  11. Click Install.
    Note:  To restart the servers, use the same commands as specified for the Infor Expense Management install.
