Installing the Tomcat service

To install the Tomcat service:

  1. Select Start > All Programs > Accessories.
  2. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator.
    Note:  You must open a new Command Prompt window so that previously set environment variables if any, are not used for this installation.
  3. Navigate to the apache-tomcat-6.0.29\bin folder.
  4. To install the service, run the service.bat install file.
    Note:  To uninstall the service, run the service.bat remove file.
  5. Start the Infor Expense Management extensity server service.
    Note:  You may have to wait for 30 seconds for the service to start.
