Perform these steps to configure the Apache web server setup in RedHat 8:

  1. Install these apr-devel openssl-devel compat-openssl10 library:
    • sudo yum install apr-devel openssl-devel compat-openssl10
    • mv libapr-1.so.0 libapr-1.so.0.orig
    • ln -s /lib64/libapr-1.so.0 libapr-1.so.0
  2. Install httpd:sudo yum install httpd.
  3. Navigate to apache/bin in the XM installation folder.
  4. Click envvars file to ensure that the LD_LIBRARY_PATH points to the correct XM installation path.

Note: Support for higher OS versions are expected to be backward compatible. For any backward compatibility issues, see the O/S vendor documentation with new releases.
