Modifying an expense type

You can modify an expense type only if you configure the Change Expense Type option in the Field Attribute Editor tool of the Infor Expense Management application. See the Infor Expense Management System Administration Tool Guide.

  1. Click an expense report document on the My Documents tab. The details of the document are displayed.
  2. Click an expense line item. The line item details are displayed.
  3. Select the Change Expense Type option.
  4. Select an appropriate expense type.
    Note: The overrides for VAT and GL accounts are reset after an expense type is modified.
  5. Click Save to save the line item. You can also click Save-Next to modify next line item, if any.
    Note: You must enable the lineItem.showSaveNextButton application parameter to view the Save-Next option when reviewing line items. You can prefix a role to this application parameter to enable the option for a specific role. For example, audit.lineItem.showSaveNextButton.
