Percentage-Based Workflow Routing template
Use this template to create a business rule that specifies the percentage of documents that will be routed to a specified activity. This rule randomly generates a fraction between 0.01 and 1. If this fraction is less than the configured percentage divided by 100, the documents are routed to the configured activity.
These parameters are displayed on the Parameters tab of the Edit Business Rules screen.
- Percentage
- Select the percentage of total documents to be routed. The percentage is achieved in a large sample of documents.
- To Activity
- Select the activity where the document is to be routed if the rule executes successfully. This list is completed based on the exit fire on selected.
- External Key
- Optionally, specify a unique ID. If your company uses the Expense Management Import tool to populate the Expense Management database, external keys are imported into the database automatically. See the Infor Expense Management System Administration Tool User Guide.
Example
You can create a business rule for determining that 10% of the total documents are routed to Manager Review. This example shows the possible values for this business rule.
