Working with background processes

You must log on to the Infor SAT application to work with background processes. Navigate to Servers > Background Process Monitor.

Note: You can also start and stop a background process from the command line.

You can perform these tasks:

  • Start a background process
  • Stop a background process
  • View a background process log
  • Define a background process
  • Edit a background process
  • Delete a background process
  • Refresh a background process

Background processes are available for each of these functionalities and are located in the alco_background_process table:

  • Expense reports
  • Payment requests
  • Travel plans
  • Timesheets
  • Standard import
  • Standard export
