Updating the orchestration structure and data

You must follow these steps to update the orchestration structure and data.

  1. Navigate to the Birst 2.0 home page.
  2. Select Admin at the bottom of the panel.
  3. Clone the SMD XM Datalake Analytics workflow.
  4. Rename the workflow to XM Datalake Analytics version10.3.0 to identify the latest orchestration.
  5. Update the copied workflow and map the spaces from SMD XM Datalake Analytics to the XM Datalake Analytics spaces.

    The image below is an example of the Cloned SMD Extract and Process Orchestration.

    Note: After changing the space reference, the space name must not contain the SMD prefix. The steps for each publish task must follow the example depicted in the image. Incorrect or missing steps can result in incorrect or missing data on the dashboards. If you cannot remember the original steps, refer to the original SMD workflow.

    The above workflow contains total 5 steps as we are using two model spaces with one source and one Consumer space. The suggested way of orchestration steps are referred in above screen shot.
