Installing the Tomcat server using the Windows Tomcat installer for base version

To install the tomcat server using the Windows Tomcat installer:

  1. Double click the xm-tomcat-10.0_build number.jar file.
    The Welcome to Expense Management 10.0 screen is displayed.
  2. Click Next. The Choose Installation Set screen is displayed.
  3. Select the Tomcat server option and click Next. The Required Installation options screen is displayed.
  4. Specify the path where the Infor Expense Management 10.0 application must be installed and click Next. The Connectivity Information screen is displayed.
  5. Specify this information:
    Server host name
    The host name of the server on which the application is installed.
    Alias host name (leave blank if no alias)
    The name of the public server host on which the application is installed.
    Server port number
    The number on the port on which the application server is running.
  6. Click Next. The Background Process Server Information screen is displayed.
  7. Specify this information:
    Background server host name
    The host name of the background server on which the application is installed.
    Background server port number
    The port number of the background server on which the application server is running.
  8. Click Next. The Transactional Database Information screen is displayed.
  9. Specify this information:
    Database type
    The type of the database considered.
    Database name
    The name of the database that is manually created.
    Database server
    The name of the server on which the application is installed.
    Database port number
    The port number of the database on which the application server is running.
    User name
    The user name used when creating the database.
    Database password
    The password used when creating the database.
  10. Click Next. The Installation Progress screen is displayed.
  11. Click Install.
  12. Click Ok and Exit.
