Installing the Apache service

To install the Apache service:

  1. Select Start > All Programs > Accessories.
  2. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator.
    Note:  You must open a new Command Prompt window so that previously set environment variables if any, are not used for this installation.
  3. Navigate to the apache\bin folder and run one of these files:
    • install_apache_service.cmd: To install the Apache service with non-SSL mode.
    • install_apache_ssl_service.cmd: To install the Apache service with SSL mode.
    Note:  To uninstall, run the uninstall_apache_service.cmd file for both the SSL and non-SSL modes.
  4. Start the InforXM_Apache service.
