Adding a country

You can use the Country (alco_country) table to specify a country. The countries that you can add can be selected from the Country selection screen.

  1. Click the Data tab.
  2. Select Country and click Show Tab. The Country screen is displayed.
  3. Click New. The Search for Country / New Country screen is displayed.
  4. Specify this information in the Primary Information panel:
    Name
    The name of the country.
    Code
    The ISO numeric code for the country.
    Abbreviation-2 Letter
    The two-letter character code for the country.
    Abbreviation-3 Letter
    The three-letter character code for the country.
    Status
    The status of the country. The status can be Active or Inactive.
    External Key
    A unique external ID of the country, if required.
  5. Click Save to add a country and save the data.
