Adding an hourly charge type

You can use the Hourly Charge Type (alts_hourly_charge_types) table to specify a value to display in the lists available for the selection when you create a timesheet.

  1. Select Manage > Corporate Data.
  2. Select Hourly Charge Type in the Data Type field.
  3. Specify this information:
    The name for the hourly charge type. For example, Double Time, Overtime, or Travel Time.
    An internal code for the charge type. This code is used by the system processes that require hourly charge type information.
    Is Overtime
    Indicates whether the hourly charge type time is billable as overtime.
    Pay Code
    The pay code for the hourly charge type used by your payroll system.
    Sequence Number
    The order in which the charge type is displayed on the General tab in the Infor TS application.
    The status of the hourly charge type. The status can be Active or Inactive.
  4. Click the Membership tab, if required, and add the data groups. See, Adding or removing data groups from a corporate date type.
  5. Specify an external key, if required. See, Creating an external key.
  6. Click Add to save the data.
