Adding a charge type

You can use the Charge Type (alco_charge_types) table to specify a value to be displayed in the lists available for selection when you create a timesheet.

  1. Select Manage > Corporate Data.
  2. Select Charge Type in the Data Type field.
  3. Specify this information:
    The name of the charge type.
    Cross Tab Element
    The TS hourly utilization data across the tab to which this charge type is mapped. For example, billable, non-billable, or overhead.
    The order in which the charge type must display on the General tab of the Create or Review screens in the system.
    The status of the charge type. The status can be Active or Inactive.
  4. Click the Membership tab, if required, and add the data groups. See, Adding or removing data groups from a corporate date type.
  5. Specify an external key, if required. See, Creating an external key.
  6. Click Add to save the data.
