Adding a labor type

To add a labor type:

  1. Click the Data tab.
  2. Select Labor Type and click Show Tab. The Labor Type screen is displayed.
  3. Click New. The Search for Labor Type / New Labor Type screen is displayed.
  4. Specify this information in the Primary Information panel:
    Name
    The display name.
    Code
    The internal code for the labor type. This code is used by the system processes that require labor type information.
    Status
    The status of the labor type. The status can be Active or Inactive.
    External Key
    A unique external ID of the labor type, if required.
  5. Click Add in the Membership section, if required, and add the data groups.
  6. Click Status to add a labor type and save the data.
