Adding a labor type
To add a labor type:
- Click the Data tab.
- Select Labor Type and click Show Tab. The Labor Type screen is displayed.
- Click New. The Search for Labor Type / New Labor Type screen is displayed.

Specify this information in the Primary Information panel:
- Name
- The display name.
- Code
- The internal code for the labor type. This code is used by the system processes that require labor type information.
- Status
- The status of the labor type. The status can be Active or Inactive.
- External Key
- A unique external ID of the labor type, if required.
- Click Add in the Membership section, if required, and add the data groups.
- Click Status to add a labor type and save the data.
