The standard import process is usually triggered automatically through a script or process to follow the update of the Import staging tables. Manual interference is required to correct any data errors that occur during the process. These data errors must be corrected at the source of the data rather than on the staging tables, otherwise, the next load of the staging tables can contain the same corrupted data. Although errors are reported for corrupted data, the process continues to process the rest of the data. Errors that occur during one run do not prevent the process from being invoked. Nevertheless, an administrator must periodically correct the data errors.
