Adding a travel category

You can use the Travel Category (altr_travel_category) table to configure the travel categories. These categories are group based, and are linked to travel items of the Travel Item corporate data type.

  1. Click the Data tab.
  2. Select Travel Category and click Show Tab. The Travel Category screen is displayed.
  3. Click New. The Search for Travel Category / New Travel Category screen is displayed.
  4. Specify this information in the Primary Information panel:
    Name
    The name for the travel category.
    Status
    The status of the travel category. The status can be Active or Inactive.
    External Key
    A unique external ID of the travel category, if required.
  5. Specify this information in the Additional Information panel:
    Show Total
    Indicates whether the total is displayed or hided for the travel category, if required.
    Tax Name
    The name of the tax category for the travel category, if required.
  6. Click Add in the Membership section, if required, and add the data groups.
  7. Click Save to add a travel category and save the data.
