Disabling an owner at the enterprise level

You can disable specific owners to prevent stock from being received, adjusted, or shipped when an owner is inactive or on hold. An error message is displayed in WMS and RF when you perform an action related to the owner. However, stocks can be moved when moving inventory to a new location or area.

To disable an owner:

  1. Select Facility > ENTERPRISE > Enterprise > Configuration > Trading Partner > Owner. The Owner screen is displayed.
  2. Select a record.
  3. Select the Enable/Disable list menu and click the Disable Owner option. A window is displayed with a confirmation message.
    Note: The Enable/Disable field is displayed only if you enable the SETCUSTOMERONHOLD parameter on the Feature Control screen at the Enterprise level.
  4. Click Ok.
    Note: 
    • The specific owner is disabled, and the Hold/Inactive check box is selected by default in each facility. If required, you can enable an owner in the required facility by clearing the Hold/Inactive check box. This check box can be accessed on the Processing tab of the Owner screen at the Warehouse level.
    • You can enable an owner again for all facilities, by selecting the Enable Owner option from the Enable/Disable list menu.
