Work Monitor

The Work Monitor view provides real‑time insights into warehouse operations. The dashboard displays the activity progress, the remaining workload for the day, released work, and completed work.

When you select an activity on the dashboard, the application displays additional information, such as progress indicators, estimated completion times, and staffing requirements. These insights help warehouse supervisors determine when to increase support or reduce staffing.

The integrated planning tool enables supervisors assign users to specific tasks and tracks the flow of incoming cubic volume to dock areas, parcel packing stations, and pallet packing stations. When one area progresses ahead of schedule, supervisors can reassign staff to areas that require additional support.

Note: The Work Monitor view can be accessed only if you enable the VISUALWORKMONITOR parameter on the System Settings screen.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard organizes operational data by areas in the warehouse. Each zone must be mapped to a single area. For each area and associated activity, the dashboard displays these values:

Released Work: Indicates if enough work is available for the activity.

Total Work for the Day: Represents the full workload planned for the current date.

Completed Work: Displays the amount of work finished so far.

The status icons indicate if an activity or area is ahead of schedule, on time, or running late. The application displays the worst‑case status across an activity or an area. The thresholds for each icon can be configured.

If the number of activities exceeds the available space on the card, an additional page is created automatically. Activities are sorted for the late or ahead‑of‑schedule items to be displayed at the top, ensuring that tasks requiring attention remain displayed.
