You can choose the LOCFLAG code from Facility > Warehouse > WMS > Configuration > Codes > System.
If items reside in a location, the status cannot be changed from the Location screen. A location, with items, can be put on hold from the Inventory Holds screen.
Hold locations are not candidates for allocation transactions in the application.
- Status
- The status of the location. Display only.
If a user puts the location on hold from the Inventory Hold screen, this status is updated to Hold. It does not reflect a specific type of hold. This value may be on hold even if there is not a hold on the location.

- The zone to which the location is assigned. Required for Task
Management.
You can choose from a list of records created in Facility > Warehouse > WMS > Configuration > Zone.
Default value: Rack
- Route Sequence
- The locations sequenced for picking and putaway purposes. Codes
between 1-5 characters are common to the facility and should be developed to
identify the pick and putaway order.
The route sequence automatically defaults to the same value populated in the Location field.
Examples: FAC1 = Facility One, HK1 = Hong Kong One.

from items moved into the Location.Note: If the value selected in the Location Type field is Sortation Station, you cannot select the Lose ID check box.
- Picking Zone
- The outbound picking zone for the location to which the shipment orders are allocated. If this field is specified, assignments are created based on picking zones instead of putaway zones. You can create picking zones to improve the efficiency of the picking process. These picking zones and the associated areas are designed to match outbound picking requirements and are independent of zones configured for putaway or other inbound processes.
- Automatically Ship Picked Product
- If this check box is selected, inventory that has been picked is shipped out of inventory when it is moved or picked to this location.
- Backflush Inventory from Speed Pick
- If this check box is selected, the backflush logic for production
orders. The flag is used to correctly link the type of product being
consolidated to the correct speed location. Note: If this selection is checked, the Lose ID field must also be checked.
- Dynamic Location after Lose ID
- If this check box is selected, the location is emptied after picking. After demand replenishment is performed, it is removed from the SKU.
- Height
- The height of the location storage area. Required for Task Management.
- Length
- The length of the location storage area. Required for Task Management.
- Width
- The width of the location storage area. Required for Task Management.
- Level
- The level of the location from the floor. Task Management uses this selection to determine whether equipment can service the location. Required for Task Management.
- X Coordinate
- The x coordinate of the location in the warehouse. Used with Interleaving of Putaways and Pallet picks.
- Y Coordinate
- The y coordinate of the location in the warehouse. Used with Interleaving of Putaways and Pallet picks.
- Z Coordinate
- The height of the location from the floor. This can be used for labor productivity tracking to measure the expected and actual task performance.
- Orientation
- The facing direction of the location in degrees (normally 0, 90, 180, or 270). This is used by the labor management to determine the travel required. It is also used by the facility viewer to correctly draw the location.
- Cubic Capacity
- The maximum cubic capacity of the location (Length x Width x
Height). The cubic capacity must be entered before viewing the space using
graphs in the View Inventory Balances function.
Multiply location Length x Width x Height, and type this figure in the Cubic Capacity field.
- Weight Capacity
- The maximum weight capacity the location can hold.
- Stack Limit
- The maximum number of pallets that can be stacked vertically in this location.
- Share Width from Location
- The location that can share width capacity with the location being
configured.
The location being configured and the selected sharing location are checked using these parameters to verify width sharing validity:
- The location being configured and the selected sharing location must both have width dimensions greater than zero.
- A location cannot share width with itself.
- A location cannot share width capacity with more than two other locations.
- If a location is part of a width sharing relationship, it cannot be deleted.
- Share Weight from Location
- The location that may share weight capacity with
the location being configured.
The location being configured and the selected sharing location are checked using these parameters to verify weight sharing validity:
- The location being configured and the selected sharing location must both have weight dimensions greater than zero.
- A location cannot share weight with itself.
- A location cannot share weight capacity with more than two other locations.
- If a location is part of a weight sharing relationship, it cannot be deleted.

- The real-time count of transactions as they occur for a location. Non-editable field; displayed count updated by the system when there is a transaction on the location. The transaction count can be used to calculate the cycle count classification of each location based on usage. The Reclassify Location Cycle Class job in the scheduler uses the count to update all cycle classes based on the most recent usage in all locations.
- Last Cycle Class
- The latest cycle class value after the Reclassify Location Cycle Class job in the scheduler runs successfully. Non-editable field; displayed value is updated by the system.
- Allow Outbound Move Task
- If this check box is selected, the outbound move tasks are performed for this location.
