Packing List Conversion to ASN

The Packing List Conversion to ASN solution is an enterprise automation tool that converts pack slips received via email into ASNs within the WMS. This process is executed automatically through unattended automation, eliminating manual input and improving operational efficiency. By leveraging Infor RPA, Infor Document Processor (IDP), Infor Document Management (IDM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI (GenAI). The solution improves efficiency in ensuring that product certifications are compliant and current.

In RPA, this solution is labeled as PackSipToASN.

This solution introduces a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) automation that integrates with Outlook, downloads attachments, and uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract data. The extracted data is sent to Review Center in RPA Management and process as follows:

• If ASN exists in WMS that matches the extracted data, discrepancies are displayed in the Discrepancies category of the Review Center.
• If ASN does not exist in WMS, the data is displayed in the Needs Creation category of the Review Center.
• If any data is missing during extraction, the data is displayed in the Missing Information Category of the Review Center.

A supervisor can review the extracted information against the document for each category and approve. After approval, RPA processes the data into WMS.
