Moving all inventory from source location to destination location

Use the Move All Loc Inv screen to move all inventory from the single source location to the destination location. When multiple LPNs are available in the source location, you can scan up to 10 LPNs. This capability improves inventory accuracy, increases order fulfillment speed, and reduces operational costs.

To move all inventory at once:

  1. Select Replen & Move (RPMV) from the RF application. The Replen & Move (RPMV)screen is displayed.
  2. Select More and click Move All Loc Inv. The Inv.Move All screen is displayed.
  3. Specify From Loc and In Transit Loc.
  4. Press Enter. A confirmation message is displayed.
Note: The application does not process the move, if:
    • The From location has pending tasks.
    • The From location contains held inventory and the ALLOWRFMOVEALLHELDINVENTORY system parameter is set to OFF.
    • The FROM location contains allocated or picked inventory.
    • The scanned FROM or TO location is not valid or does not exist.
    • The commingle rules for the FROM and TO locations do not match for items, lots, or lot attributes.
  5. Press Yes. A list of fields is displayed.
Note: The application moves all inventory from the source location to the INTRANSIT location, updates inventory, and records the transaction.
  6. Specify To Loc.
  7. Press Enter. The application moves all inventory from the INTRASIT location to the final location after the successful validation.
    Note:
    • When you process outbound activities, do not allocate or pick inventory from the source location. This inventory is excluded from Move All operations.
    • A valid INTRASIT location must be configured to serve as a staging point before the final move.
    • If the destination location does not meet the constraints for the inventory move, the inventory remains in the INTRASIT location. You must identify a destination location that meets all move constraints. If required, the original source location can be used as the destination to return the inventory.
    • When the source location contains more than one LPN, the application displays an intermediate screen for scanning LPNs. This step helps keep application and warehouse activity synchronized and ensures that no physical inventory remains in the source location.
    • Commingling rules for SKUs, lots, and attributes must be correctly maintained in the TO location master data.
