Carrier tab
Use this tab to specify and review carrier and transportation information associated with the ASN. You can record the carrier information such as carrier code, name, address, arrival date, and trailer information used during receiving operations.
- Carrier Code
- The carrier associated with the shipment.
- Carrier Name
- The name of the carrier.
- Address Line 1
- The primary carrier address.
- Address Line 2
- The additional carrier address information.
- City
- The city associated with the carrier address.
- State
- The state associated with the carrier address.
- Zip
- The postal code associated with the carrier address.
- Phone
- The contact number associated with the carrier.
- Country
- The country associated with the carrier address.
- Carrier’s Ref
- The carrier reference number for the shipment.
- Door
- The assigned receiving or dock door.
- Actual Arrival Date
- The date and time the trailer arrives at the facility.
- Actual Departure Date
- The date and time the trailer leaves the facility.
- Trailer Number
- The unique number assigned to the trailer.
- Trailer Key
- The unique identifier of the trailer record.
- Trailer Owner
- The company or organization that owns the trailer.
- Trailer Type
- The classification of the trailer used for receiving and loading operations.Note:
- When the TRAILERTYPEONASNMODS parameter is enabled on the
Feature Control screen:
- If the specified trailer does not already exist, by default, the application populates the Trailer Type field with TRAILER. You can modify the value before saving by selecting a valid trailer type from the Cartons configuration (Display on Loading must be enabled). The value you specify is used when creating the new trailer record.
- If the trailer already exists, the application retrieves the trailer type from the existing trailer record and displays as read-only. You cannot modify the trailer type from the ASN/Receipt screen for an existing trailer. You can modify the trailer type from the Trailer screen.
- If the Trailer Number field is cleared and the ASN is saved, the Trailer Number, Trailer Key, and Trailer Type fields are all cleared automatically.
- When the TRAILERTYPEONASNMODS parameter is disabled, you can modify the value in the Trailer Type field regardless of whether the trailer exists.

- Driver Name
- The name of the driver associated with the trailer.
- Temperature
- The temperature record for the trailer.
- Appointment Number
- The appointment associated with the receipt.
- Created By
- The user who created the record.
- Date Created
- The date and time the record was created.
- Updated By
- The user who last modified the record.
- Date Updated
- The date and time the record was last modified.
