Detail tab

Use this tab to define the rules that the application uses when selecting putaway locations. When multiple detail records exist, the application evaluates them in step number order until it identifies an eligible putaway location.

You must specify this information:

Step Number
The sequence in which the application evaluates the putaway strategy detail record. Lower step numbers are evaluated before higher step numbers. For example, Step number 1 is evaluated before 2 and 3.
From Zone
The first warehouse in the range of zones to be evaluated.
To Zone
The last warehouse in the range of zones to be evaluated.
From Location
The first location in the range of locations to be evaluated.
To Location
The last location in the range of locations to be evaluated.
Location Sort Type
The method used to sort available locations before selecting a putaway location.
UOM Restriction

Single Putaway for Multi Pallets
If this check box is selected, the applications assigns a single putaway location to multiple pallets that are being processed together.
Strict FIFO Rotation Lottable 04/05
If this check box is selected, the application applies FIFO rotation using the values stored in Lottable 04 and Lottable 05.
Strict Rotation All
If this check box is selected, the application applies strict inventory rotation requirements for all eligible inventory.
Check Restrictions
If this check box is selected, the application validates location restrictions when evaluating candidate locations.
Check Allergen
If this check box is selected, the application enables allergen compatibility validation for this putaway strategy detail.
Note:
  • This check box is displayed only when the ALLERGPUTHANDLING parameter is enabled on the Feature Control screen.
  • The allergen compatibility rules are configured on the Allergen Compatibility screen.

The application compares the allergen class assigned to the incoming item with the allergen classes assigned to inventory stored in adjacent locations. If an incompatible combination is identified, the application skips the location and evaluates the next eligible location.
