Completing RF-directed replenishment

To complete the RF-directed replenishment:

  1. Select Task Manager from the RF device Main menu. The Task Manager (TMM) screen is displayed.
  2. Select Standard. The Task Manager (TM) screen is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Area1
    The area for the tasks. If the value in this field is not specified, the application displays tasks for all areas for which you have permission.
    Task
    The type of task being performed. To select replenishment tasks, type R.RP – Replenish displays in the field.
    Note: 
    • If the value is not selected, you can receive other non-replen task types.
    • If the RPLNSTRICTROTATE parameter is enabled on the System Settings screen, and you do not have the permission to the area or location of the required lot, the Nothing To Do message is displayed on the standard task manager screen in the RF application. The permissions are granted on the User screen.
  4. Press Enter twice. The replenishment task is displayed. If applicable, the Replenishment (TRP) screen is displayed with all replenishments for the areas or zones you designated in the Area1 field. You must execute these tasks in the order in which these tasks are displayed.
  5. Press Enter to accept the tasks. The Task Replenishment (TRP2) screen is displayed.
  6. Confirm this information:
    From
    The current location of the item.
    Item
    The item to be replenished.
    Pack
    The code identifying the set of UOM by which the item is tracked.
    Note: The pack key copied in the inventory record is displayed, if the value in the Automatic Copy of Pack to Lottable at Receipt field is set to Copy to the Lottable01 on the General tab of the Item menu.
    SLIFE
    The shelf-life days assigned to the Pick location.
    Note: 
    • This field is displayed only if the Replenishment Shelf Life is populated on the Assign Locs tab on the Item screen.
    • The application displays an error message if the inventory does not meet the required shelf-life criteria.
    Lpn
    The license plate number for the item.
    Repl Qty
    The total number of items to replenish.
    Lpn Qty
    The quantity of LPN.
    Residue
    The computed difference between the LPN quantity and the replenishment quantity.
    To
    The location in which you must place the item.
    Uom
    The unit of measure for the item, such as case, pallet, innerpack, or each.
    Note: If the LPN quantity on the source pallet exceeds the pallet quantity defined in the item's Pack Key, the application displays the inventory quantity EA instead of PL. To enable this functionality, you must enable the REPLENWITHOVERSIZEPALLETS and USEPACKUOMONRF parameters on the System Settings screen.
    IntLoc (In Transit Loc)
    Temporary location for the move to record the first step of the transaction. This field can be used differently depending on operation needs. Possible uses include:
    • Use the default value INTRANSIT to show that inventory is in process. If this value is always used, the field can be hidden on the RF screen.
    • Enable the operator to enter or scan a temporary location, such as an equipment ID. This improves the tracking of the physical location of the inventory while the move is in process.
  7. Press Enter.
  8. Specify a valid lot attribute value for each lot if the LOTVAL screen is displayed. This screen is displayed when lot attribute validations are checked as visible or required on the RF Lot Attribute Validation screen.

    The Pick Order (TPK03) screen is displayed if the lot attribute validation is not required.

  9. Press Enter. The Task Replenishment Confirmation (TMV3) screen is displayed.
  10. Confirm this information:
    FLoc
    The location from which the item is replenished.
    To Qty
    The total number of items to replenish.
    To Loc
    To location or location where you are placing the item.
    Note: You can view and select the assigned pick location for an item using the F2 function key or lookup field. The assigned locations are displayed with location type (Pick, Case, or Layer), based on the locations specified for the item on the Assign Locs tab of the Item screen. See Item pick location configuration (Assign Locations tab) topic from Infor WMS User and Administration Library (Cloud).
    Reas
    The reason code associated with the replenishment.
  11. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Press Enter to display the next task in the queue.
      • If the quantity confirmed on the replenishment is less than the quantity on the initial task, the Task Replenishment Return (TMV4) screen is displayed.
      • The Task Replenishment Return (TMV4) screen provides direction on where to move any excess quantity that did not get confirmed during the replenishment. Note that this screen is for information purposes only; it does not trigger any system actions.
      • Press Enter to advance to the next replenishment task.
    • Press Esc to cancel.
  12. Press Esc after completing the replenishment tasks.
