Assigning a transport task

You can use this screen to accept the pending transport tasks. When you accept a task, the application locks the selected transport task and set the task status to Held by user. You must complete the task before the time specified in the CLRASSGNTRANSPORTTSKINTVL parameter on the System Settings screen. Else, the application assigns the task automatically to another user.

To accept the tasks:

  1. Select Outbound Menu from the RF device Main menu. The Outbound Management screen is displayed.
  2. Press More.
  3. Press More.
  4. Press Transport Task. The Transport Task screen is displayed.
  5. Press Assign Task. The Area field is displayed.
  6. Specify the area in the Area field (For example, Facility).
  7. Press Enter. A list of pending transport tasks is displayed.
  8. Select a pending transport task.
  9. Review the information and press Enter to accept the task.
  10. Repeat the process to accept the required tasks.
  11. Press Esc to exit the screen.
