Using the LPN Move RF option

To use the LPN Move RF option:

  1. Select Replen & Move (RPMV) > LPN Move. The Move LPN (RL01LP) screen is displayed.
  2. Scan or Input information to execute the move.
  3. Specify information in the From fields:
    LPN
    The license plate number of the item
    In Transit Loc
    Temporary location for the first step of the move transaction. This field can be used differently depending on operation needs. Possible uses include:
    • Use the default value INTRANSIT to show that the inventory is in process. If this value is always used, the field can be hidden on the RF screen.
    • Allow the operator to enter or scan a different temporary location, such as an equipment ID. This improves the tracking of the physical location of the inventory while the move is in process.

    A quantity is not required because this screen assumes the entire license plate is being moved. The quantity defaults to zero and does not display on the screen

  4. Press Enter to complete the first step of the move.
    Note: 
    • For full pallet moves, the serial number capture screen is not displayed. All associated serial numbers are moved automatically.
    • The application displays an error message if the inventory does not meet the required shelf-life criteria.
  5. Specify this information in the To field:
    To Location
    The location to which the items are moved.
    Note: Use the F2 key or lookup icon to view and select the assigned pick location. The application displays location type (Pick, Case, or Layer), based on the locations specified for the item on the Assign Locs tab of the Item screen. See Item pick location configuration (Assign Locations tab).
