Republishing a data fabric transaction

Use this task to republish failed or stalled transactions. To republish a data fabric transaction:

  1. Select Facility > ENTERPRISE > Enterprise > Configuration > Data Fabric Management > Data Fabric Transactions. A list of transactions is displayed on the Data Fabric Transactions screen.
  2. Review the transaction records displayed on the Data Fabric Transactions screen.
  3. Review the status value for each transactions. Possible values:
    • New: Indicates that the transaction is created and committed.
    • Queued: Indicates that the transaction is placed in the processing queue to be published to Data Lake.
    • In Process: Indicates that the transaction is currently being published to Data Lake.
    • Reprocess: Indicates that the transaction is scheduled for another publishing attempt.
    • Published: Indicates that the transaction is published to Data Lake and is available for reporting and analytics processes.
    • Failed: Indicates that the transaction is not published successfully and require reprocessing.
    • Throttle Reprocess: Indicates that the transaction is automatically retired because of throttling conditions.
  4. Select one or more transactions and click Republish. The transactions are resubmitted for processing.
    Note: You can use the Republish By Date Range option and specify the date range in the Date/Time From and Date/Time To fields, to republish transactions within a date range.
  5. Review the transaction status to verify that the transaction progresses through processing and is successfully published.
    Note: 
    • Successfully processed transactions follow the typical status flow: New > Queued > In Process > Published.
    • You can reprocess a transaction up to five times. If a transaction continues to fail after multiple attempts, contact Infor Support for assistance.
