Viewing the Detail Inventory screen

You can select the Inventory Balances menu item to access the Detail Inventory screen. From the Detail Inventory screen, you can:

  • View detail level inventory.
  • Navigate to other inventory screens/views.
  • Initiate inventory transactions directly from this screen.
  • Specify search criteria into the filter fields located above each column on the screen. Note that searches can include wildcards for characters and operators for integers (such as =, OR, AND, BETWEEN).
  • Click hyperlinks within this screen to access the corresponding inventory screen for specific detailed information.

To access and search the Detail Inventory screen:

  1. Select Execution > Inventory > Balances. The Detail Inventory list view screen is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria into the applicable column filter fields for the inventory balances data you want to view.
    • You can select the columns to show (or hide) within the Detail Inventory list view. See the Infor WMS Introduction and Navigation User Guide for information on selecting columns you want to display.
    • Note that the Item, Location, and LPN fields are always displayed in the Detail Inventory list view. You cannot select to hide these fields.
  3. Click Search.
    Note:
    • As indicated in the search field for On Hand (>0 is displayed), a search only displays records with an On Hand quantity greater than zero by default. You can change the value if you want to view records with zero balances.
    • You can view the case and pallet quantities of an inventory item in the Case On Hand and the Pallet On Hand fields. The case and pallet quantities are determined based on these conditions:
      • The system considers Pack key of the Lottable01, if the Automatic Copy of Pack to Lottable at Receipt field is set to Copy to Lotttable01 on the General tab of the Item screen.
      • The system considers Item Pack key, if the Lottable01 Pack key is not available.
      • The system displays the quantity as zero for the case and pallet fields, if case and pallet quantities are not assigned to the Pack Key.
Note: The Case On Hand and the Pallet On Hand fields are displayed only if the INVBALCSPL parameter is enabled on the Feature Control screen.
