Creating a replenishment strategy

  1. Select Facility > Warehouse > WMS > Configuration > Strategies > Replenishment. The Replenishment screen is displayed.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information on the replenishment strategy header area at the top of the screen:
    Replenishment Strategy
    Specify a unique code identifying the replenishment strategy.
    Description
    Specify a description of the replenishment strategy.
  4. Specify this information on the replenishment strategy detail area at the bottom of the screen:
    Step Number
    Specify the step number that determines the logical sequence the system follows when processing the replenishment strategy. This is a required field.
    Location Type
    Select the location type. The default value is Other.
    Location Category
    Select the physical location type such as cantilever rack, drive-through rack, or horizontal carousel.
    Description
    Description of the strategy step.
    Location Handling
    Select the type of packaging approved for storage in the location. Options include Pallets Only, Cases Only, and Other.
    Location ABC
    Select the ABC designation of the fixed location.
    Rounding UOM
    Unit of measure to round replenishment quantity.
    Allocation Zone
    Select the allocation zone.
    Zone
    Select the putaway zone.
    Rule for License Plate Quantity Sort
    Based on the specified quantity rule, controls the LPN that is selected in the From location.
    Full Lpn
    Select Yes value to find a location with a Full LPN.
    Replenishment Location Sort
    Select the sort to use when determining the source replenishment location.
    Consider To Location Capacity
    Limits replenishment quantity by location capacity.
  5. Click Save.
