Accessing Integration Configuration screen

Use this screen to view and set up the integration configuration for a facility. The Integration Configuration screen is a header and detail screen, with the event types and the on and off flags on the header, and the message building XMLs on the detail. To access the screen:

  1. Select Administration > Integration Configuration located under your facility in the sidebar menu.
  2. Open the detail screen for a particular event by clicking on the details icon on the far left of the row you are interested in.
  3. These fields are available:
    • Event Name – The name of the event as it appears in the transmitlog tablename field.
    • Event Description – A description of the event.
    • User / Date Updated – The username that made the last change to this event and the date/time the change was made
    • Message / Alert / Event Enabled – If checked, Infor WMS WM creates a transmitlog entry with an eventcategory of Message / Alert / Event as appropriate when an event of that type occurs.
    • Publish BOD – Infor WMS WM Extension checks to see if we are publishing this event type to ION. This flag only works for a certain, limited event set. Turning this flag on for events not set up to publish to ION will produce errors in your integration logs and provide no benefit.
    • Custom Message / Alert / Event XML – These fields allow you to create your own message format to be used when exporting events.

If using an ION integration take extreme care not to remove any fields or modify the structure of an event that is being published (Publish BOD flag checked) or you may break the integration. The Alert or Event message type may be used if structural changes are necessary. Infor recommends starting any edits by copying the Base message XML and editing in a dedicated XML editing utility, then pasting the resulting XML into this field.

    • Base Message / Alert / Event XML – These non-editable fields are used to build messages in the absence of a custom message and provide a side benefit of being able to return to the base message quickly in the event of issues.
    • Publish Event Message: If this check box is selected, you can design the event message and generate a SyncSCECustomEvent for the selected event. The value for the Message Type column is set to E in the Integration Logs screen for the events that are created by WMS.
      Note:
      • This option is available at the Enterprise and the Warehouse levels.
      • You can select the Publish BOD and Publish Event Message BOD types for the same event.
      • By default, the Event Enabled option is selected, if the Publish Event Message option is selected for an event.
      • This option is available only if the Event BODs group is enabled in the Feature Control menu. The SyncSCECustomEvents are not created if the Event BODs group is not enabled.
