Managing lanes
To manage lane assignments:
- Select Crossdock > Management > Lane. The Lane Management screen is displayed.
- To add a new lane assignment, click New. The Lane Detail screen is displayed in Form View.
- In Lane, specify the name of the lane.

Select a lane type.
Note:
- If you select Customer Lane, Outbound Lane, or Divert Lane you must specify a customer or owner in the Owner/Customer field.
- If you select Item Lane, you must specify an owner in the Owner/Customer field and an item in the Item field.
- Click Save.
Modify existing lane records
- Select Crossdock > Management > Lane. The Lane screen is displayed.
- To display a list, use the Search option.
- Select the lane you want to modify.
- Make your changes.

Note: If you attempt to create a lane assignment for a lane that has already been assigned, a warning message displays.
