Setting up user directed lot swapping

Before user directed lot swapping can take place, these settings must be selected.

  1. Select Facility > ENTERPRISE > Enterprise > Configuration > Trading Partner > Owner, and then select the Task tab.
  2. Select one of these options under the Default Lot Swapping field:
    • User Directed By Lot
    • User Directed By LPN
    • User Directed By Lot Attribute

    Otherwise, select No.

  3. Select Facility > ENTERPRISE > Enterprise > Configuration > Item, and then select the Outbound tab.
  4. Select one of these options under the Lot Swapping Allowed field:
    • User Directed By Lot
    • User Directed By LPN
    • User Directed By Lot Attribute

    Otherwise, select No.

  5. Optionally, to turn on lot swapping logs, select Facility > Warehouse > WMS > Administration > System Settings.
  6. Search for LOTSWAPPINGLOGS in the Key field.
  7. Select the On check box.
