Forecast Details
The Forecast Details screen displays detailed information related to the selected forecast. This screen is displayed if you click a record on the Forecasts tab. The Forecast Details screen is divided into these sections:
- Graphical View: Displays a line graph representing forecast values. If an adjustment exists, the graph updates to reflect the adjusted forecast values. See Graphical Representation.
- Grid View: Lists separate forecast detail records in a tabular format. Each record includes information related to key fields, group fields, date, and value. See Detail Grid.
You can view and modify the forecast values and Group fields data if the Editable check box is selected for a forecast record on the Forecasts tab. Else, you can only view the data.
The header of the Forecast Details screen displays this information:
- Forecast Name: The name of the forecast.
- Forecast UOM (Unit of Measure): The unit used for the forecast values.
- Detail Interval Granularity: The level of detail used in the forecast intervals.
- Forecast Range: The date range of the forecast.
You can customize the data displayed in the line graph and the data grid using these filtering options:
- : The date range to display.
Note: By default, this value is set to the earliest possible detail date.
- : The interval type for displaying data.
Note: The intervals are only displayed that are less granular than the Forecast Group interval. For example, if the Forecast Group interval is set to Monthly, these options are displayed:
- : The value defined in Key Fields on the Forecasts tab.
- : The value defined in Group Fields on the Forecasts tab.
