Updating receipt header fields with an RF device

To update ASN/Receipt header fields:

  1. Select Receiving > Update ASN.
  2. Specify at least one of these values to search for the ASN/Receipt:
    • Receipt number
    • External receipt number
    • Purchase order number
    • Supplier
    • Carrier
    • Trailer number
    • RMA number
    • Packing list number
  3. Press Enter. The first receipt that matches your search criteria is displayed. At the top of the screen, you can see the number of records that match the search criteria.
  4. With the applicable receipt record displayed, press F3 to update information in the header fields.
    For the Arrival Time header field:
    • You can add the ASN record arrival date and time into the Arrival Time field, or update the date and time if the arrival time information is already displayed.
    • The date and time format displayed is determined by the specified locale of the user. For example:
      • English (United States) is MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM
      • English (United Kingdom) is DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM
    • The time zone used is the Facility time zone. Regardless of the user locale, the same date and time are displayed for the ASN.
  5. Press Enter to update the ASN/Receipt table.
